Final trailer for Paranormal Activity 5 reveals Toby's true form
Paramount has dropped a final trailer for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension ahead of its release next week. The (supposed) last chapter in the spooky found footage series picks up with a new family targeted by the evil demon, Toby.
In a twist that connects this sequel to the earlier movies, it's revealed that the latest family moves into the same house Katie and Kristi lived in while they were children - only this time a camera, found in the basement, lets them see the titular activity.
The mysterious demon responsible for all the terror throughout the series has been kept out of sight, letting audiences use their imagination to conjure up Toby's nightmarish figure. So it's interesting that instead of discovering the truth next week, we're given an extended glimpse of him in this preview.
Is it just us, or does he look a little like evil Groot?
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension opens in the UK on October 21 followed by a US release two days later on October 23.
