First full trailer arrives for The Peanuts Movie: watch now
Nostalgia ahoy, as the first full trailer has arrived for The Peanuts Movie, a CG-animated extravaganza starring Charlie Brown, Snoopy and pals.
Pleasingly, the synopsis sticks firmly to the tone of the comic books, describing the film as the story of "the little round-headed boy with the indomitable optimism on a quest to get something he’s sure he needs, even though he discovers he’s pretty OK just as he is."
Meanwhile, Snoopy will be showing off his incomparable flying skills as he takes to the skies on a thrill-packed mission of his own…
Take a look at the new trailer, below…
From Snoopy's kennel / Sopwith Camel, Linus's security blanket and Charlie Brown's ever-pessimistic outlook on life, it looks as though everything that made the cartoons so charming has been lovingly ported across to this big-screen incarnation. Consider us excited!
Directed by Steve Martino, with Paul Feig on production duties, The Peanuts Movie will open in the UK on 21 December 2015.
