First image of Henry Cavill in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice arrives
Clark Kent comes over all journalistic
The first image from the set of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has swooped online, giving us our first look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in the superhero smash-em-up.
Wearing a shirt, tie and brown trench coat, this looks like Clark in full journalist mode, no doubt investigating the nefarious schemes of Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).

A treat for a Monday morning for all our #HenryCavill fans. Henry is a great supporter of the @RM1664Challenge ! http://t.co/q4HcEqw0Mr June 30, 2014
(If you’re wondering what Cavill’s holding up, it’s a T-shirt promoting the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, who tweeted the picture yesterday.)
The film, which isn’t so much a direct sequel to Man Of Steel 2 as a prelude to 2017’s Justice League , has been shooting for a month, with Ben Affleck on board as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
Information on BvS remains pretty sparse at this point, but you can bet there’ll be a fair few epic scraps between the titular superheroes.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens in cinemas on 6 May 2016.
