First image of Ron Gilbert's next game arrives in puzzle form
Put together the pieces and get a sneak peek at Double Fine's next
Before Double Fine was kickstarting the world into submission, they recruited adventure game legend Ron Gilbert to make a new point-and-click adventure. With exception to a few images sent out from Gilbert's website, nothing was really known, until today. We received a small box in the mail filled with puzzle pieces that formed together to make the following image:
So, yeah. There's a first-look at Ron Gilbert and Double Fine's next game, whatever it's going to be. We're not going to lie, those characters sure look straight out of 1990s LucasArts games, and we're really excited to check out the game to see if it manages to capture the feel of those early classics.
Also included was a small slip of paper (not pictured) promising an actual look at the game in the near future. We're going to jump right onto that, and we'll report back as soon as we have something more solid to talk about.
