First image from Sherlock season 4 features Benedict Cumberbatch
Despite having only just wrapped on Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch - also known as the hardest working actor in Hollywood - is currently filming Sherlock's fourth season, and co-showrunner Mark Gatiss has taken to Twitter to share the first on-set image. Check it out below...

Other than the fact that Cumberbatch cuts a mean figure - something which is also evident in the first poster for Doctor Strange - this tease doesn't give much away, understandable considering they've just started production.
Last week we learned that season 4 may be the last we see of Cumberbatch's sleuth, as co-showrunner Steven Moffat teased that the story was "about to reach its climax". If that turns out to be accurate, I'm hoping the upcoming trilogy of episodes ends the series on a high.
Sherlock season 4 will premiere on BBC 1 in 2017.
