First images from Snow White And The Huntsman

We were impressed by the Snow White And The Huntsman panel at Comic-Con and four impressive character banners have now hit the net.

Clearly not wanting Tarsem Singh's rival Snow White project to steal all the thunder with the recent reveal of its princess, Huntsman thankfully looks like a very different beast (meaning we shouldn't have to sit through two indentikit movies next year).

Kristen Stewart is in full-blown warrior woman mode for her banner (above), kitted out in a full suit of armour, and sporting a sword and shield.

As well as being a pretty exciting reinvention for the character, it looks like it'll be Stewart's first attempt at an action role (and it gives her the perfect opportunity to break out the trademark scowl).

Charlize Theron looks suitably magisterial and threatening as The Queen, with a relatively minimal look that doesn't scrimp on style.

Also on the agenda is Chris Thor Hemsworth, who glowers ruggedly as the other title character. Hemsworth is one of The Con's main attractions this year, as he'll also be starring in 2012's The Avengers .

And finally, there's Sam Claflin (the sappy preacher missionary from Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides ), who looks to be playing a subverted version of the traditional prince character (the black armour and moody glare are a bit of a giveaway).

Check out the rest of the banners in all their glory here:

Snow White And The Huntsman is set to open on 1 June 2012, and there's talk of the plot spanning a trilogy.
