First images of Emma Watson in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
Hermione does high school
Summit Entertainment has released a new batch of official images to promote its 2012 lineup, most interesting of which is the set of stills promoting Emma Watson’s post- Potter breakout movie, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower .
Adapted from the coming of age novel by Stephen Chbosky, the film follows high school freshman Charlie (Logan Lerman) as he struggles to fit in with the rest of his peer group. Fortunately, the cool and beautiful Sam (Watson) is on hand to take him under her wing, and show him there’s more to high school than education…
Also starring Ezra Miller as Watson’s gay best friend and Paul Rudd as Logan’s kind-hearted English teacher, the film is directed by Chbosky himself, who also adapted his source material into a screenplay.
From the looks of the pictures, Watson has got the All American look down to a tee, what with a wardrobe full of varsity jackets and plaid skirts. The film is set to arrive in the US at some point later in the year, but until then you can browse the first set of official images below…
