Cinemagoers heading to see The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug can look forward to an early Christmas present, with the film set to be preceded by the first trailer for Interstellar .
Paramount / Warner Bros. will be releasing a 1 minute 43 second trailer in front of the latest jaunt to Middle-earth, giving Hobbit fans the first chance to take a look at Christopher Nolan’s new one.
As is often the case with Nolan’s films, we’ve seen next to nothing from the film, despite it being scheduled for release within 12 months, so this first trailer is hotly anticipated to say the least.
Plot-wise, all we know is that the film will deal with a space exploration crew who discover a wormhole that opens up the possibility of time travel…
Directed by Nolan and co-starring Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Casey Affleck, Interstellar will open in the UK on 7 November 2014.
