It seems like only yesterday that Jennifer Lawrence landed the lead role of Katniss Everdeen in the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games .
But already the first image of the actress in her battle-gear has been unveiled, proving if nothing else just how quickly things can happen in modern day Hollywood.
With her blonde hair dyed brown, the actress can be seen wearing Katniss’ full get-up while clutching her signature bow and arrows.
She’s also donning the golden pin that fans of the book series will recognise from the novel artwork.

The Hunger Games is being directed by Gary Ross. Lawrence co-stars with Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth banks.
