Bryan Singer has posted a new image online from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, giving us our first look at Sophie Turner and Lana Condor in character as Jean Grey and Jubilee.
Fans of the comic-books will be pleased to see Condor sporting a jacket in Jubilee’s signature yellow, while Turner looks almost unrecognisable from Game Of Thrones’ Sansa Stark. Presumably because she’s smiling.
The duo are two of a whole raft of young new introductions for the new film, with Tye Sheridan on board as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Ben Hardy as Angel and Olivia Munn as Psylocke. Oscar Isaac has also joined the cast as the titular antagonist, Apocalypse.
Directed by Singer and co-starring returning heroes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
