First Mortal Kombat tournament bloodying up Vegas this month
Sign-ups close this Monday
If you love last month's Mortal Kombat reboot, or just sort of like it, but are planning to go to Vegas for some other reason, then you ought to know that the first professional tournament is taking place at the Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas on the 14th and 15th of this month.
Street Fighter gets EVO, and now Mortal Kombat gets the "National Mortal Kombat 9 Tournament" (NMK9T?), hosted by Performance Designed Products, creator of the Mortal Kombat fighting stick. $21,000 in prizes are at stake, so if you think your kombat is mortal enough (haha...ha...), sign up at http://www.pdp.com/mortalkombat by this Monday, the 9th.
We'd totally go, but we're still recovering from our last trip to Vegas.
