Just days after we received confirmation that ABC had given the OK to a new Agent Carter series , a first poster and synopsis have arrived online, briefing us on what to expect from the new show.
As previously understood, the new series will pick up after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger , with Peggy Carter embarking upon her new career as a covert operative…

Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as the titular character, with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Steve McFeely reportedly envisioning the first season of the show as a 10 or 13-episode series.
Agent Carter will form part of ABC's 2014-2015 lineup, with a specific air date yet to be confirmed.
