American TV show Entertainment Tonight are hosting their own behind the scenes special on the sequel later this week, and the promo reel for that show contains a load of footage from what we assume is Holmes 2 ’s first trailer.
It’s a blurry, fuzzy first look, but for fans of the first film who are biting their nails at the prospect of a sequel, it gives us an idea of what to expect from Guy Ritchie and co.
Namely, it's more of what worked in the first Holmes movie.
So Downey Jr and Jude Law snipe at one another before the former gets into silly disguises. Then impressively earth-shaking explosions threaten to turn the pair into potato salad.
Bring it on, say we.
