First Silent Hill HD Collection footage is in from Comic Con, made even scarier by wonky shaky-cam angles
Pyramidhead. James. Heather. Loads more pixels
It's taken its sweet time, but the ever-growing torrent of HD remakes is finally getting close to making me forget my bitterness over not getting a backward-compatable PS3 before they were poleaxed. Slim PS3, you're all slinky and nice, and I love you dearly, but your total inability to recognise and upscale a PS2 disc has been a source of growing resentment ever since we met. But soon the quietly simmering volcano of bile in my heart will be cooled, for Silent Hill 2 and 3 are coming this autumn, joining the assembled ranks of the first two God of Wars, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Resident Evils 4 and Code Veronica, Metal Gear Solids 2 and 3 and the Sly Cooper trilogy at the PS3 HD remake party.
Basically, very, very good times all round. But you already knew that. Whatyoudon't know (unless you've already clicked the video and aren't actually reading these words at all. In which case screw you. You smell awful and your haircut is bloody ridiculous. See what I say about you when you're not reading? No. No you don't, do you? And that's exactly my point) is exactly what the Silent Hill HD Collection looks like when filmed at a cockeyed angle from a projection on a large screen at Comic Con.
But in just a moment you shall have just that knowledge!
(Unless of course you already have it, in which case I reiterate, screw you)
Everyone else, have a couple of screenshots too.
