First trailer and poster unveiled for Brit drama Pride: watch now
“Lesbian, are you?”
The hilarious first trailer for British drama Pride has debuted online.
Starring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West and George MacKay, the film’s based on the true story of a group of lesbian and gay activists who supported a Welsh mining community in 1984.
If the trailer’s anything to go by, Pride is all but destined for BAFTA glory. Staunton in particular stands out, doing a spot-on Welsh accent and landing all the funniest lines.
Meanwhile, West throws some impressive shapes on the dance floor. It’s fair to say this is definitely on our ‘must watch’ list.

As well as the trailer, the sunny poster for the film has also been revealed.
