First trailer for Seven Psychopaths: watch now
New comedy from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh
Seven Psychopaths , the new comedy from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh, has unleashed a first trailer on the world (via Machinima ).
Fans of McDonagh’s earlier work will be pleased to know that his dark, acerbic funny bone is still fully intact, with plenty of humour propping up the first footage.
The conceit is fairly straightforward. Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken’s dognapping business is coming along well, until they get their hand’s on a psychotic gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu.
There’s tons of zinging dialogue, and the cast (including In Bruges alumnus Colin Farrell) seem to be having a ball.
Even the title cards are irreverent.
Just watch the trailer below now:
Seven Psychopaths opens in the US on 12 October 2012. There’s no UK release date pencilled in yet, but we imagine it’ll follow fairly quickly.
