Netflix has released a first trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp, and it’s a gloriously retro affair, taking the form of an advert for the Camp Firewood that appears to have been crudely recorded onto VHS.
As it did in the big-screen version, this prequel version of Camp Firewood looks like a whole heap of fun, with activities ranging from archery to, er, street-dance. Where do we sign up? One, two, three… LET’S GO!

The vast majority of the film’s original cast will be returning for the new show, including the likes of Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd and Molly Shannon, while the likes of Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Lake Bell are all set to join the cast at various points throughout the series. The new show will debut on Netflix on 31 July 2015, with all episodes available from the get-go.
