First Watchmen mobile game images appear

The first pictures of the Watchmen mobile experience have hit the Internet.

Watchmen: The End Is Nigh is already on the way for console players, but now mobile phone users will get the chance to take on the role of characters such as Nite Owl and The Comedian.

And MTV has the first couple of shots up from the mobile game, which you can find in our gallery.

Launching with the film

Much like the video game version, the mobile experience will launch at the same time the film arrives in our cinemas next year.

And, unlike some other tech-based film goodies, it will be available in the UK and not just across the pond. Plus, unlike Glu Mobile’s Dark Knight game, the Watchmen title is planned to work across all phone carriers.

So if you’ve ever wanted to indulge your cynical, violent, cigar-chomping side, your shot at slipping on The Comedian’s mask is just around the corner.
