The second installment of Battle for Middle-earth calls for even bigger armies with more individually animated units than ever before. No better reason to keep you coming back to relive the epic battles from the Lord of the Rings movies. Fielding mind-bogglingly huge armies never gets old, but the choppy, laggy performance your crippled rigdelivers when trotting out Mordor's finest has to stop. It's likely anot-enough-memory issue, especially if you continue to hear your hard drive chugging away long after you've loaded a level. You can never be too rich, too thin, or have too much RAM. Even ifextra memoryisn't the Band-Aid your game needs, your computer will love you. We know you love it back. Sicko.

Armed with that knowledge, you can shop with other companies too, like Kingston or OCZ (two of our favorites). Expect to pay around $100 for each gigabyte of RAM. If your machine can handle 2GB of memory, get it. You're worth it.
