Forest Whitaker's first post-Oscar movie?
Ensemble cast for Winged Creatures
If Forest Whitaker does take home the golden boy for best actor on 25 February it seems he’s not going to make the mistake of so many others before him by shifting sideways into blockbuster territory (Forest Whitaker in Con Air 2, anyone?)
Instead, he’s joined a quality cast, whose recent additions include Kate Beckinsale, Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning, for Winged Creatures, an adaptation of Roy Freirich's top-notch debut novel concerning survivors of a brutal restaurant murder.
The Babel style intersection causes each of the characters to question their own lives and their place in society as a whole. We imagine it won’t contain the line ‘Put the bunny back in the box,’ but we’re not promising anything.
Winged Creatures will start shooting on 19 March, with Rowan Woods (Little Fish) screaming orders at his fancy cast.
