The Fortnite challenges are a familiar sight in the game, as we've been regularly taking them on since they were introduced all the way back in the days of Season 3 Chapter 1. These additional tasks mean that players can do more in matches than just fight for a Victory Royale, and although different gimmicks have been applied to them over time the general idea has stayed consistent – they provide ways to earn supplementary XP for players who complete the assignments so their battle passes level up quicker, unlocking more rewards for them to claim. There are certain Fortnite challenges that often appear, like searching chests and ammo boxes or eliminating opponents at particular Named Locations, but this guide is here to assist with more difficult quests such as tracking down hidden collectibles or visiting lesser-known landmarks.
Because the Fortnite challenges are no longer exclusive to Battle Pass holders, there's more Fortnite players than ever looking to clear their lists. Everyone can collect the XP rewards on offer, earning new locker items and even some extra V-Bucks without spending any real money. To complete the weekly Fortnite challenges there are often hidden items to find, as well as specific tasks to complete which may not seem straightforward at first. Don't worry though, as we're here working our way through the Fortnite challenges every week to bring you tips for getting through them fast, as well as additional guides for any tasks that require further explanation.
