The Fortnite Lantern Puzzles continue to grow, and we now have a Purple puzzle to tackle alongside the previous Yellow and Green conundrums on the Lantern Fest Tour island. Although there are 'hints' placed online by the map creators via the @FortniteME Instagram or Twitter pages for how to solve them, these are proving obscure and difficult to locate. Don't worry about that though, as we've done the investigating already to bring you all of the solutions you need to tick off the relevant entry in the Fortnite quests, and help you progress through the island challenges. Whether you're trying to complete the Green, Yellow, or Purple Lantern Puzzles in Fortnite, we've got you covered.

To start the Purple Lantern Puzzle in Fortnite, head through the tunnel to your left when you arrive on the Lantern Fest Tour island, then make your way around the lake and look for the lantern within a group of purple trees between Marvelous Maze and Slippery Slide. When the booth is available, interact to start the Purple Lantern Puzzle.

In the Purple Fortnite Lantern Puzzle there are five different representations of characters and objects that you need to hit with your hammer in a specific order, and we've marked the sequence to follow in the image above, which is:

  1. Cuddle Team Leader
  2. Meowscles
  3. Peely
  4. Gnome
  5. Teddy Bear

Smack those targets with your mallet in the right order within the 30s time limit and you'll solve the puzzle, giving you another XP boost. If you make an error with the sequence or run out of time, you can jump straight back in to repeat the challenge without any penalty.

How to solve the Yellow Lantern Puzzle in Fortnite

To begin the Yellow Lantern Puzzle in Fortnite, you should go through the tunnel to your left when you arrive on the Lantern Fest Tour island, go past the previous green lantern then look for the yellow lantern on the left between Cozy Court and Parkour Paradise. If the booth is free, you can interact and get the Yellow Lantern Puzzle underway.

In the Yellow Fortnite Lantern Puzzle there are five different targets to shoot with your flaming arrows, and unlike the cryptic green puzzle the hint basically spells out what you need to do through a story about Peely. We've marked the order you need to shoot the targets in above, which is as follows:

  1. Banana
  2. Pineapple
  3. Mango
  4. Orange
  5. Grapes

Hit those targets in the correct order in the 30s time limit and the puzzle will be solved, giving you an XP boost and completing the 'Solve a Lantern Puzzle at Lantern Fest Tour' quest if you haven't done it already. If you make a mistake or the timer expires then there's no problem, as you can return for another go.

How to solve the Green Lantern Puzzle in Fortnite

To start the Green Lantern Puzzle in Fortnite, head through the tunnel to your left after you arrive on the Lantern Fest Tour island, then look for a large glowing green lantern structure on the left hand side between Bounty Bolivard and Cozy Court. Approach it, and as long as no one is already inside you can interact with it to start the Green Lantern Puzzle.

This will teleport you into the Green Fortnite Lantern Puzzle, where you have 30 seconds to interact with five different colored tubes in the correct order. There are 120 different possible combinations you could enter here, but the right one you need is as follows:

  1. Red - Camel
  2. Blue - Yellow Circle
  3. Purple - Oasis
  4. Green - Cactus
  5. Yellow - Palm Tree

Enter that sequence correctly within the time limit and you'll be notified that you've solved the puzzle, along with a generous XP reward and completing the 'Solve a Lantern Puzzle at Lantern Fest Tour' quest. If you get the order wrong or run out of time then don't worry, as you can simply approach the lantern and interact with it again for another attempt.
