All Fortnite new weapons, vaulted and unvaulted for Season 4 of Chapter 5
All of the new Fortnite weapons for Chapter 5 Season 4
Plenty of new Fortnite weapons have arrived thanks to Doctor Doom's takeover of the island in Season 4 of Chapter 5. With Wrecked done and dusted, Absolute Doom mixes up the weapon loot pool with several new weapons, including a lever-action shotgun, dual micro SMGs belonging to a certain Deadpool variant, and heavy firepower from War Machine. It also sees the return of special superhero weapons such as Doom's gauntlets and Captain America's shield, which hasn't been seen in Fortnite for years.
Of course, you can still bolster many of the Fortnite Season 4 weapons you collect with Fortnite weapon mods, including the returning Striker Burst Rifle. However, you can also look out for Fortnite Weapon Bunkers which you can raid and access to find high-level versions of weapons inside Fortnite weapon cases.
Additionally, bear in mind that everything that fires a projectile counts as a ranged weapon, which gives you plenty of items to choose from if you're working through any quests that require that type of armament. To help you understand exactly what has been added and removed from the loot pool, we've listed all the new, vaulted, and unvaulted weapons in Season 4 of Chapter 5 below.
Fortnite new weapons
With several Marvel characters exploding onto the scene, Fortnite Season 4 has quite a few weapons to loot:
- Dual Micro SMGs (Gwenpool gives out a pink Mythic version)
- Monarch Pistol (Mythic version dropped by Doombot)
- Sovereign Shotgun (Mythic version dropped by Mysterio)
- War Machine's Arsenal
- War Machine's Auto Turret
- War Machine's Hover Jets (not a weapon but cool nonetheless)
New Fortnite characters, like Gwenpool, offer their own unique weapons, but you can also collect new weapons and Mythic versions of them from some of the new Fortnite Medallion bosses found patrolling certain POIs. If you favor close-range fights, you might want to grab Gwenpool's rapid-fire Micro SMGs or Mysterio's Mythic Sovereign Shotgun. However, if all-round firepower is what you're after, War Machine's gear is for you - you can even get a jetpack for aerial superiority.
The following weapons have carried over from Season 3 so you can still pick them up in Season 4:
- Combat Assault Rifle
- Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Hyper SMG
- Ranger Pistol
- Shockwave Grenade
- Striker Assault Rifle
Fortnite vaulted weapons and items
Fortnite Season 4's Marvel-focused theme means the island, and much of the loot within, has had a superhero shake-up, though that means the wasteland-themed weaponry from Season 3 has been sent to the vault. Here are the weapons that have been vaulted for Season 4:
- The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle
- Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists
- Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt
- Cerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Hand Cannon
- Harbinger SMG
- Huntress DMR
- Combat Shotgun
- Enforcer AR
- Oscar's Frenzy Auto Shotgun
Fortnite unvaulted weapons and items
In addition to the returning items from last season, there are a few classic weapons that have been unvaulted for Fortnite Season 4:
- Striker Burst Rifle (now moddable and Emma Frost drops a Mythic version)
- Doom's Arcane Gauntlets
- Captain America's Shield
Captain America's shield making a return is a big deal as it hasn't been seen since the Endgame LTM all the way back in Chapter 1! It has obviously been brought up to date, letting you block damage while sliding and jumping, and it has a new shield-charge ability.
