How to complete Fortnite Quests in Chapter 6 Season 2

The Fortnite quests have expanded in a number of areas this week, as alongside the usual Weekly assignments there are also fresh Story quests plus a Cowboy Bebop section, and even some new OG tasks with the Season 2 Greatest Hits B-Side. If you've completed all of the challenges with Skillet then the next Story section involves NPC Joss, who can be found in the Backwoods Black Market in the Magic Mosses area, though you'll also have to help Big Dill host a party over in Crime City. Don't forget that it's now possible to track multiple quests if you tag them via the menu, which will make it easier to keep tabs on everything that's happening. In addition to the challenges connected to the main battle royale, there are certain quests that are exclusive to Fortnite OG and Fortnite Reload, so expand your horizons to ensure you're maximizing the XP available.

As always, there's plenty more going on outside of the battle royale as well, so make sure you check out the separate experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival to see what else is available. Don't overlook these assignments, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Season 2 of Chapter 6 to speed up your progress through the Battle Pass. There are Story quests starting to roll out again, and while we're still waiting for the return of Expertise quests you can take on regular Daily quests and classic Weekly quests to provide plenty of different options.

The Week 2 quests involve travelling 400m distance while airborne, so keep jumping around or launch off ramps in vehicles, while reaching 25 players remaining in two different matches should come in time – and you can always hide while waiting out the storm circles if needed. When it comes to hitting ten opponents while swimming or sliding it's easier to shoot enemies while in water, while carrying bandages or med-kits will allow you to gradually restore 200 health in total, and both of those challenges can be made easier by playing in Team Rumble mode. To search a Dill Bit Display Case you'll need to crack open a vault, so grab some Thermite and head to the nearest bank.

There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on specific challenges. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
