Watch Forza 6 race through its retro predecessors in this brilliant new trailer
Alright video games, pack it in - Forza Motorsport 6 is calling it. The pinnacle of gaming has officially been achieved, and we can all go home. But before you do, make sure you watch this new commercial, which sets up the latest Forza as the summation of every game developers' efforts and realization of every racing fan's dream.
It may slightly overstate the prominence of voxels in game design history, but it's still a fun trip. Most of all it makes me want to see that PlayStation-era graphics (in terms of polygons, anyway, Forza still can't help but render beautiful lighting) stage appear in Forza Motorsport 6. Those super-slick cars would look even more impressive tearing up tracks full of jaggies and fuzzy textures, don't you think?
Unfortunately, the Forza 6 demo takes place solely within this console generation. But it still has a lot to keep you busy until the full game hits Xbox One on September 15.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
