Forza Horizon 2 rewards players for both winning races and stylish driving

In most racing games, all that matters is how good you are at crossing the finish line before anyone else. If you ain't first, you're last, etc. And while that's still an important aspect of Forza Horizon 2, an upcoming open world racing game for the Xbox One and 360, you'll still be rewarded for your efforts even if you aren't setting record race times. Yes, that's right: Horizon 2 grants players experience not only for winning races, but driving with style.
So, what does "driving with style" mean, exactly? Lots of things. It means drifting around tight corners without sliding off the road; it means weaving between traffic at high speeds, avoiding collisions by a matter of centimeters; it means blasting over hilltops and getting air. All of these things will contribute to your overall experience level, regardless of whether or not you're consistently winning races.
Those experience points eventually lead to skill points, giving you the opportunity to unlock passive upgrades that make the racing life just a little bit easier. From the ability to fast travel through Horizon 2's massive open world, to a Profit Share perk that nets you more cash every time someone downloads your custom-built paintjobs and decals, there are plenty of skills that will have you eager to keep the pedal to the metal.
