Fred Claus teaser trailer online
Early promo ho ho ho from Vince Vaughn’s Chrimbo comedy
Given that the new comedy starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti and Kevin Spacey isn’t out until Christmas – that’s Christmas 2007 – we’re surprised to see a teaser trailer already. But in this age of films competing for every last shred of our movie-loving attention, we don’t really blame the team behind Fred Claus.
There’s not much to see yet (obviously), but this trailer does highlight what looks to be one of the killer points of the film – the chucklesome back-and-forth between Santa (Giamatti) and Fred (Vaughn).
With Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin behind the camera and a cast that also includes The 40-Year-old Virgin’s Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz and Kathy Bates, this tale of Santa’s grouchy brother forced to move to the North Pole looks like it could be a comedy to look forward to. Now all we have to do is wait a year…
