Free Final Fantasy XIV log-in week starts today
To celebrate Final Fantasy XIV’s growth to over 4 million user accounts, Square have announced a free log-in week lasting from Friday 27 February to Monday 9 March. So if you haven’t logged in a while, now’s your perfect chance.
The campaign also coincides with the launch of the Manderville Golden Saucer, released as part of patch 2.51 earlier this week. As well as taking part in a collection of fairground-style minigames, you’ll be able to jump in the saddle in Chocobo racing and breeding (yes, just like in FFVII), and try your hand at Triple Triad, the addictive card game made famous in FFVIII.
The campaign is open to those who have already registered in the past, but if you’re picking the game up for the first time you’ll also get an introductory free trial so you really have no excuse not to take part and start crafting your perfect Triple Triad deck.
For more information you can check out the game's official website.
