Free game with 360 camera
TotemBall to be bundled with Xbox Live Vision
Wednesday 16 August 2006
Gamers will be getting a free game called TotemBall when they purchase Xbox Live Vision, the Xbox 360 camera that is expected to be released this autumn.
TotemBall is a motion controlled game that has you trying to guide a wheeled totem pole around a series of obstacles in order to collect items and reach the end of level goal.
It's being developed by UK developers Strange Flavour and Freeverse, the latter having experience in making Eye-Toy-style games, including ToySight for Mac.
There's still no news of an official UK release date or price, but it seems Microsoft is keen to compete with Sony's EyeToy as soon as it can. Xbox Live Vision will enable face mapping, web chat and interaction with some games available on the Live Arcade service.
