FrightFest Glasgow 2015 line-up announced
FrightFest Glasgow is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and the festival's full, gory line-up has been announced.
With festival co-director Alan Jones promising “cutting edge quirkiness” this year, the fest will kick off with Eliza Graves, the much-anticipated Hammer horror starring Kate Beckinsale, Ben Kingsley, Jim Sturgess and Michael Caine.
Then there's shockumentary The Atticus Institute (from Buried writer Chris Sparling), zombie comedy Wyrmwood, plus the European premiere of The Asylum, from director Marcus Nispel.
Particularly exciting is the world premiere of 88. Directed by April Mullen and starring horror fave Katharine Isabelle, it's described as a “fast-paced homage to cult exploitation revenge thrillers”.
FrightFest Glasgow 2015 runs from 26-28 February.
