A new, full-length trailer has arrived online for Scream Queens, Fox’s new slasher series set against the backdrop of a sorority house presided over by Emma Roberts’ queen bitch.
The new trailer makes a point of flagging that it comes from the creators of both Glee and American Horror Story, and the new show looks to have borrowed liberally from both in terms of tone. Looks like MTV’s Scream TV show is going to have some serious competition…

Looks like a nice balance between Mean Girls-esque sass and some genuinely gory horror scenes. Looks like the slasher genre isn’t quite dead after all… guess somebody forgot to put a bullet in its head. Co-starring Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Jamie Lee Curtis, Scream Queens will make its bow on Fox this fall, with a specific air date yet to be confirmed.
