Silent Hill 3 (PS2, 2003)
Akira Yamaoka's You're Not Here from the Silent Hill 3 Original Soundtrack sounds quite a lot like U2's 1983 hit New Year's Day, especially in terms of the driving eighth notes, and reverb-heavy rhythm guitar. There's a sense of urgency in the female vocal and the lyric only rarely strays into cliché. It feels very short, but at 3:41 it's actually perfect single-length. Good stuff.
