Game of Thrones Season 7 adds two new characters, and at least one isn't from the books
Two new faces are coming to Westeros (and possibly the Hall of Faces) in Game of Thrones Season 7. Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall spotted Thrones mentions on two actors' resumes: Joseph Quinn, who will appear as a character named "Koner", and Paul Ward, who will play a currently unknown character.
There aren't many story details to be extracted from this news: nobody named "Koner" appears in the books by George R.R. Martin (at least not so far) and we don't even know who the other person will be. But you have to add some new characters in if you want to keep killing them all off, obviously, and Jon Snow actor Kit Harington has teased Game of Thrones will "get very dark" before there's any possibility of a happy ending.
Game of Thrones Season 7 will debut in summer 2017.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.

Daredevil actor Charlie Cox says Born Again won't be "dumbed down" on Disney Plus and in "some ways" it's "even darker" than the original Netflix series
