Enough with the virtual protests and Pac-Man cakes. It's time to put the "game" back in "gamer"
Look up there. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's another Space Invaders mosaic! Back in the early 90s, a French artist by the name Invader began plastering France with mosaics of the Space Invaders' aliens and ships. Nothing was off limits. The mosaics invaded sides of buildings, street signs, and his mother.

Well, okay, we made up that part about his mom. Still, taggers with a penchant for retro games around the world followed suit, and today Space Invaders mosaics can be found in unexpected places throughout the planet. But while it was cool and daring at the time, today, Space Invaders mosaics are about as shocking as a man with an earring; it's just not that big a deal anymore.
