Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
Platform: Xbox 360
The heroes in a half shell are getting a spot in Xbox Live Summer Arcade's sunshine. The four-player actioneer will star Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael in an original adventure based on the current Nickelodeon cartoon. Fans of the pizza-eating ninjas will be treated to a fresh “hyper-realistic” take on the turtles as well as combo-based combat designed to show off each of the hero's individual fighting styles.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is being developed by Red Fly using the Unreal Engine 3 game engine, which we found to link it more closely to TMNT creators Eastman and Laird's original (and grittier) version in our TMNT: Out of the Shadows preview. Look for a PS3 version to release in September.

Pokemon Rumble U
Platform: Wii U
Itching to use that fancy NFC technology in your Wii U GamePad? Scratch away with Pokemon Rumble U, the first downloadable title that will make use of the controller's ability to read real world objects and translate them into the game. In this case, players will have the ability to scan optional Pokemon figures and insert them into large scale Pokemon battles.
Pokemon Rumble will star all 649 Pokemon through Black and White 2, with battles taking place in familiar locales such as Sparkly Playland, Blue Sky Park, and the Mysterious Forest. It will come pre-loaded with a ton of Pokemon, meaning you don't actually have to pay extra for the 18 real-world figurines. But let's face it, if you're a fan, you've already put aside the cash.
