Protect your property or steal the hidden treasures in asymmetric burgle 'em up Bandit Trap
See if you can outwit the defending Trapper or defeat the three invading Bandits by signing up for the public beta now
Bandit Trap is a home security company looking to put their latest innovations to the ultimate test, by bringing in bandits from all over the world to try and defeat them. As seen in the latest trailer shown during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase, this leads to some comically over-the-top combat action pitting the home defender against the invaders, and you'll soon be able to try it for yourself as public beta registration is now officially open.
In this asymmetric multiplayer game you either play the role of the Trapper, who controls all of the security devices in the property and can run around laying traps, or one of three Bandits, who must work together to steal all ten valuable treasures and escape before succumbing to the onslaught from the house. If you want to succeed as a Bandit then you'll need to master the various scanners and tools at your disposal to detect traps and uncover hidden treasures, while a winning Trapper will have to carefully monitor the house and strategically boobytrap furniture to knock the Bandits out.
One thing that really makes Bandit Trap stand out is the comical procedural damage to the characters, who get blown up, flattened, and blasted through walls in their pursuit of the loot with cartoonish glee. The levels themselves are highly dynamic and destructible, meaning holes in the walls open up shortcuts around the house, and water leaks can flow through gaps to flood rooms and slow players down or even freeze over to become an ice rink!
Bandit Trap will spring into action on PC via Steam and Epic Games later in 2025, but you can register for the public beta right now to get an early hands-on experience of this criminal caper.
