Boss Rush Fighter Big Boy Boxing stings like a bee with a new trailer unveiled at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase.

Inspired by the retro classic Punch Out, and with the exaggerated animated stylings of games like Cuphead, Big Boy Boxing challenges you to fight your way to the title through an array of extremely colorful opponents. Helped along by your coach Hank,  you'll start out learning to box against a beaten-up boxing bag in a dusty club, to taking on the biggest challengers to ever grace the ring.

That rogue's gallery of opponents might not be exactly what you'd expect. Big Boy Boxing's incredibly vibrant animations combines with some amazing character design, pitting you against everyone from dedicated jocks to what I'm 90% sure is two kids in a trench coat.

As you work your way to the top, you'll be able to change up your fighting style, with customizable perks and special abilities like Electric Healing, Dynamite Punch, or Rapid Fists. And once you've claimed the belt, you can take advantage of Big Boy Boxing's replay value to face powered-up version of previous bosses and take on an even greater challenge.

There's no release date for Big Boy Boxing just yet, but it's coming soon to Steam, where you can currently download and play the game's demo, completely free.
