Parkour your way out of the corporate underworld to reclaim your soul in Hell of an Office
If you want to escape the job from Hell then you'll need to complete a series of satanic speedruns through fast-paced platforming
There may be times where you hate your job or feel like you have the boss from Hell, but that's more than just a vibe here in Hell of an Office as you've signed an employment contract with the Devil himself. As seen during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, your first day isn't exactly going to plan, so you'd better grab your trusty stapler and run like Hell.
Gameplay is divided into two sections, with the first being to explore the offices of your new workplace at HellO Office Supplies. There's plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor to be had here as you meet your quirky co-workers, visit Inhuman Resources, discover secrets, and find unlockable items for your collection.
However, the main crux of the game is the 100 levels of intense platforming action you'll need to complete, by speedrunning through the disintegrating fragments of the office. As well as using your parkour skills, you'll need to rely on physics-bending portals and gusty wind tunnels to ascend vertically and reach your goal. You'll also be using that stapler we mentioned earlier, as it gives you the power to dash, jump, hook, and more to expand your movement abilities.
In addition to progressing you through the ten circles of Hell, each completed level lets you share your best speedrun time to compete with your friends as well as international records. Have you got what it takes to rise from the fiery pits of lava and break your contract with the Devil to reclaim your soul?
Hell of an Office is due for release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in Q4 2024, however you can try out a new demo on Steam or play in Early Access right now.
