GamesRadar UK Podcast 017 - Duck Chainsaw
The one with all the games journalism career advice
With the passionately verbose Hooters absent from proceedings due to 'holiday', you'd think Episode 17 would be a lot shorter due to there being fewer words. Turns out the opposite is true - this is the LONGEST EVER episode in the UK GamesRadar Poddle's history. It's a quacker, too, thanks in no small part to Cundy bringing in some aural props to augment your auditory pleasure. In other words, there's a duck toy.
In Hooters' stead is Ben Tyrer, who is here with us on Work Experience from Bournemouth University. So if you're wondering how to go about getting into the games journalism industry, you should find this podcast particularly useful. We also had a huge response to our GamesRadar UK Question Box article on the site (so look out for that again next week) which means the Electronic mailbag (bzzzzt) is overflowing with great questions.
There's also all the almighty Towell Joke Factory, plus a twice-around-the-table Round Table. It's basically, essentially, a podcast about games. So don't delay - click the 'Click to hear us now!' black banner below RIGHT NOW before it runs away. You can also subscribe to the podcast via iTunes and have it delivered to you every fortnight. For free!
The games we're giving away on the podcast this week are: The incredible(y crap) Steel Battalion for Xbox 360 Kinect, and FIFA 08 on PS2. No, don't thank us. To be in with a chance of winning these out-of-this-world gaming treasures, listen out for the question at the start of the podcast and leave your answer in the comments on this very page. Best answer wins. Good luck.
