We love, and we hate. Here's the hate
Winner: Super Monkey Ball Adventure
Sega |GameCube,PlayStation 2, PSP
So there's this series - Super Monkey Ball. The concept couldn't be simpler: monkeys in balls, in mazes. It's so simple, in fact, it's impossible to screw up. So someone had to invent a way to do that. How about adding in a whole truckload of unnecessary platforming elements that the control and camera can't deal with? And what else do games need these days? Oh yeah, boring dialogue... and lots of it. Cue gobs of slow-moving, unskippable, totally irrelevant story sequences, and let the monkeys loose in a world they were never meant to be in.
It's hard to decide what the most infuriating thing about Super Monkey Ball Adventure is. Whether it's the idea-free adventuring, the sloppiness of the whole ordeal, or the tedious story sequences that will leave you mashing your controller and howling, it's a total mess from start to finish.
Collateral Damage: Scarface: Money. Power. Respect.

Maybe we're stereotyping here, but somehow we can't see twitchy Tony Montana fans sitting through a turn-based strategy game when they could be stealing cars and blowing shit up instead. In real life, we mean.
