As momentum and excitement builds for the unique SFX Weekender , we're pleased to make yet another exciting guest announcement! Ianto from Torchwood will be joining those guests previously revealed .
Gareth David-Lloyd
Fresh from making an impact in last week's remarkable Torchwood event, Gareth David-Lloyd has agreed to join fellow cast member John Barrowman at the SFX event in February 2010. David-Lloyd was born near Newport in Wales and appeared in various local stage productions before going on to train at the National Youth Theatre, then The Rep College in Reading. He's appeared in TV programmes such as Absolute Power, Casualty, Rosemary %26 Thyme and The Bill, as well as his regular role as Ianto Jones in Torchwood starting with the very first episode. Ianto is the general support officer and administrator for the Cardiff Torchwood team, who develops a romantic relationship with Captain Jack Harkness. Not going to say any more here about his role last week, for fear of spoilers! By the time February comes round though you'll be able to talk to him in person about it, if you join us at Camber Sands.
