Gears of War extras "free"?
Epic wants to "take care of customers"
Gears of War downloadable extras on Xbox Live may well be available free of charge, according to comments made by developer Epic: "We always take care of our customers, we always give them stuff for free and we're going to keep doing that forever".
The developer also mentioned, during a brief interview with Spike TV, that it is already sitting on extra content for the next-gen blastathon: "We started long before the game ever came out, we started on the next stuff".
Exactly what sort of downloads Epic will be unveiling hasn't been made clear, although with the developer's unbridled enthusiasm behind the project we're hoping for at least a batch of new multiplayer maps. In honesty, though, anything free is a welcome change on Xbox Live's payment-heavy system. Expect to hear more in the near future.
