Gears of War: Ultimate Edition gets its own Xbox One bundle
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will get its very own Xbox One bundle, though don't get your hopes up for a special skulls-n-blood console design.
Microsoft revealed the new $349 package at San Diego Comic-Con. It comes with a 500 GB Xbox One, one of the newly revised wireless controllers, and (duh) a download code for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Beyond that, the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle also includes early access to the Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta planned for 2016, a Superstar Cole multiplayer skin, and the standard 14-day Xbox Live trial.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will otherwise sell for $39.99, and it's all standard hardware, so it may not be quite as tempting as that sweet-looking Forza Motorsport 6 bundle - but it's still a nice deal. You can pick one up in North America starting on August 25.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
