Plenty of Black Friday gaming monitor deals popping up even though the big day isn't here just yet, with excellent discounts of displays at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. There are plenty of bargains to suit all budgets too, and some of my favorites are down to record-low prices. I would know too as I've been keenly looking out for great deals on 4K screens, vibrant OLED displays, and every model I've tested this year.

If you're still waiting to pick up the best gaming monitor at a good price, I've got some Black Friday treats to share with you ahead of November 29. You can grab an AOC 1080p screen at Amazon for just $63.99, if you're after an ultra-cheap display. Alternatively, if you need something to go with your shiny new PS5 Pro, the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710U is a fantastic option right now for $400. It's safe to say I'm impressed with how widespread the discounts are this year, and there's something to suit almost every setup.

Obvioulsy, when you're looking for the lowest Black Friday gaming monitor deals, you'll need to bear in mind the panel type as OLED displays are always going to cost more than their IPS, mini LED, or TN counterparts. Secondly, you will undoubtedly see plenty of unfamiliar brands with remarkably low price tags, and while some of these options can be worthwhile, we can help you navigate what the truly good gaming monitor deals are.

AOC 22B2HM2 22-inch | $69.99 $63.99 at Amazon
Save $6 - While this is only a measly 22-inch monitor and not even the cheapest price we've seen it, this is still a great price for a small Steam Deck, PS4, or Nintendo Switch screen. It's the cheapest monitor here and was already pretty affordable at full price, but an extra few dollars off means is better than nothing.

AOC G2 Series 24-inch curved | $209.99 $131.99 at Best Buy
Save $80 - Best Buy has launched this curved 1080p monitor into its clearance bin, and it's very much on a reduced-to-clear schedule. Annoyingly, it was sitting at $129.99, but while I'm not sure why it's a couple of dollars more expensive now, it's still a bargain.

Buy it if:

✅ You want a curved display
✅ You want a mid-range refresh rate
✅ You use HDMI and DisplayPort

Don't buy it if:

KTC G27P6 27-inch | $599.99 $509.99 at Amazon with coupon
Save $90 -This is still a solid price for a 1440p 240Hz monitor, but KTC likes to stick a cheeky 10% off button on its listing randomly that'll bring the screen under $500, so watch out for that if you want the absolute cheapest deal.

Buy it if:

Save $87 - This is the kind of price I want to see on this 4K LG model, and it's a chunk lower than last year's $450 price tag. We recently saw this monitor going for under $400, but this is still a worthwhile deal if you need one right now.

Buy it if:

When will Black Friday gaming monitor deals start?

Black Friday gaming monitor deals are going to kick off on November 29 in 2024. It's always that Friday after Thanksgiving, so at least we can prepare for the date in advance. As ever though, we are likely to see deals coming thick and fast before the big day itself - get in position to pull any triggers at least a week before, and perhaps even earlier.

Where will the best Black Friday gaming monitors deals be?

There's little debate that Amazon and Dell lead the charge when it comes to some of the best and most bombastic Black Friday gaming monitor deals available, though big-box stores have been catching up in recent years; Best Buy and Walmart have offered their fair share of savings on premium panels, too.

US:
Amazon:
Regular discounts on a large variety of monitors in all styles
Dell: Huge savings on Dell productivity and Alienware gaming monitors
Best Buy: Deals on MSI Optix, Samsung, Acer, and Lenovo panels
Walmart: Frequent sales on LG, Asus, Samsung, and other makes
Newegg: Selection can be a little more limited, but deals are generally good

UK:
Amazon:
Consistently low prices on some of the best gaming monitors
Currys: Fair prices but few deals available at the moment
eBuyer: Minor savings on some of the bigger gaming monitor brands
Overclockers: Regularly stocks high-end gaming ultrawide gaming monitors
Dell: Deep discounts on Alienware and Dell monitors
Very: Good deals available on MSI, Alienware, and HP gaming panels

Black Friday gaming monitor deals: What to expect

First things first, premium gaming monitors are almost guaranteed to get a price cut. Out of all the screens out there right now, the LG UltraGear 32GS95UE-B is the one that could be a game changer this Black Friday. At full price, it'll set you back $1,399.99, and we're already seeing discounts take it down to $1,196.99. There's every chance the dual 4K/1080p resolution panel will become a star buy and drop under $1,000, but it'll likely take a couple of months for it to drop.

Out the gate, we managed to get an excellent introductory discount on the new Samsung Odyssey OLED G6, with the 1440p monitor dropping to under $600. Even now, the 360Hz screen is down from $799 to $699 at Amazon, so we'll hopefully see it drop even further during Black Friday.

We're expecting much the same from the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 too this year, as it managed to drop less than last year's best Black Friday price during the Spring. Ideally, you'll want to wait for it to break through that $1,000 barrier, but if you see it for around $1,100 during the big day, you'll still get getting a nice offer. If you're looking for something bigger and less curvy, the exceptional OLED Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 is worth keeping an eye on, and it's already down to $899 from $1,179.99 ahead of the winter sale.

On the cheaper side of things, you'll absolutely want to keep an eye on brands like KTC. It's always worth doing your homework in regards to 'Amazon brands', but if our KTC G27P6 review is anything to go by, you'll be able to grab an outstanding 1440p 240Hz OLED screen for significantly less than branded alternatives. We'll be keeping an eye out for even cheaper screens that don't compromise on specs too, so watch this space for more reviews and benchmarks.

Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a gaming monitor?

The best gaming monitor deals will likely emerge during Black Friday, but that's not to say you should wait. Exceptional discounts are known to pop up before and after the annual event, and holding off could simply mean you end up paying a similar price. We'll keep you up to speed with any offers that pop up before November, and if a monitor drops to its lowest price, you'll be the first to know.

Are gaming monitors overpriced?

It may feel like gaming monitors are overpriced, but it's important to consider what each screen offers in terms of specs. For example, if you're eyeing up a cutting edge 4K screen with a 240Hz refresh rate, you're going to pay top dollar. However, if you're savvy when it comes to pairing the right specs with your console or PC of choice, you'll be able to narrow down displays that better fit your budget. That's going to be key when it comes to finding Black Friday deals, as while a screen with $1,000 off sounds attractive, not everyone is looking to spend more than a few hundred dollars in the first place.

How we find the best Black Friday gaming monitor deals

To ensure you get the best gaming monitor deal this Black Friday, we use our expertise and experience alongside various tools to find the lowest prices. While our specialist comparison systems help us quickly locate offers to ensure you don't miss out, we also analyse each discount with with our human eyeballs to decide whether its worth your consideration.

Throughout the year, we test countless different gaming monitor models, which in turn helps us recommend true deals during Black Friday. If a tested monitor doesn't meet our standards, we don't recommend picking it up in the sale, and we'll also provide pros and cons alongside price analysis. Simply put, no matter how good the deal is, quality and value come first.

In addition, we always take all budgets into accounts when assessing whether a product is good value for money. After all, while grabbing over $1,000 off a monitor may sound fantastic, it's not so great when the screen itself will still set you back thousands. We still cater to players looking for a premium panel, but our collection of deals will always include options at every price point possible.

I’ve been messing around with PCs, video game consoles, and tech since before I could speak. Don’t get me wrong, I kickstarted my relationship with technology by jamming a Hot Wheels double-decker bus into my parent’s VCR, but we all have to start somewhere. I even somehow managed to become a walking, talking buyer’s guide at my teenage supermarket job, which helped me accept my career fate. So, rather than try to realise my musician dreams, or see out my University degree, I started running my own retro pop culture site and writing about video games and tech for the likes of TechRadar, The Daily Star, and the BBC before eventually ending up with a job covering graphics card shenanigans at PCGamesN. Now, I’m your friendly neighbourhood Hardware Editor at GamesRadar, and it’s my job to make sure you can kick butt in all your favourite games using the best gaming hardware, whether you’re a sucker for handhelds like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch or a hardcore gaming PC enthusiast.
