Gettysburg: Armored Warfare Preview - gameplay demo
The Civil War hasn't been fought quite like this before
Gettysburg: Armored Warfare was one of the many titles Paradox Interactive had on display at their 2012 convention. Designed by a team of one, President / Lead Programmer / Artist Danny Green is about ready to ship his first game. Set in an alternate version of the American Civil War, you can participate in two different modes, Army Skirmish or deathmatch fighting for the Confederate or Union (that much hasn't changed.) Watch the demo below to see how this RTS / FPS hybrid game works. Pay attention to the music too, the soundtrack was recorded with a live orchestra.
The game is set to be released sometime in March on Steam and will come with four maps at launch.
