Ghost Rider site revs up
Get a closer look at Sony’s burning-ghoul-on-a-bike flick
Getcha motor runnin’… Nicolas Cage’s vigilante hero tale Ghost Rider might have been banished from the 2006 summer schedules but that hasn’t stopped the suits at Sony from giving the hype pot a good stirring.
The official site for the movie is now up and running, with the usual mix of trailer and downloads but also a corkin’ video blog that takes you behind the flames with weekly updates.
Daredevil helmer Mark Steven Johnson takes the reigns for the tale of a motorcycle stunt man who gives up his soul to become a vigilante and fight against the son of the devil… Oh and did we mention, that when fighting crime he becomes a leather-clad flame-retardant skeleton… no? Well we have now.
The movie was switched from a summer release due to a packed schedule on Sony’s books and will now wheel spin into cinemas on 23 March 2007 and co-stars Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes and Peter Fonda.
