It's not just the cast that's getting a major shake-up in the Ghostbusters reboot; the crew's transports are getting a fresh coat of paint as well. We've seen the iconic ambulance-hearse combo the Ecto-1, but the ladies now in charge of cleaning the supernatural sewers of New York also have a more agile counterpart. Meet the Ecto-2:
It may not look like much at first glance, but I'd say that's kind of the point. The Ghostbusters were never a well-funded joint, and their gear reflected their nature as the equivalent of a garage band. Having lasers mounted on the handlebars via duct tape and a basket full of random, industrial-looking objects on the tail end is absolutely in keeping with the standards and practices laid down by Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson in 1984.
Judging by this tweet from Lego, it could be the ride Chris Hemsworth's character uses. Now, where's that trailer we're all waiting for so we can see it and the rest of the new 'busters in action?
