Ghostbusters: The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man screenshot

15 Nov, 2007

So Ghostbusters isdefinitely happening. And we've captured the very first image. If you haven't already, give your nostalgia gland a poke by pointing your eyes downwards and rejoice in the knowledge that the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man is in the game.

The team is back together, with original actors Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson (the one that joins halfway through that no one really remembers even being there when they watched the movie back in 1984) lending their voices, likenesses etc. In fact, Akroyd and Ramis are writing the story for the game, which will be set in New York during the early '90s, after the events of the second film.

It's a Vivendi/Sierra production and it's going to be releasedlate next year for DS, PC, PS2, PS3, 360 and Wii. No mention of a PSP version yet, though. We'll have more details soon.

I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.
