Although it's the second entry in a trilogy, God of War II still feels like a complete story (even though it ends on a cliffhanger, which seems to be standard practice these days), and it's obvious that great care went into every last detail of the game. The end result is an addictive, relentlessly fun thrill ride that'll make you feel like the toughest, most brutal thing in the ancient world. If you're even a casual action fan and you don't mind the buckets of spraying blood (and the occasional bare breast or offscreen-sex minigame), then this is what you should be playing right this second.
