Golden Joystick Awards 2006

Friday 16 June 2006
The Golden Joystick Awards, one of the longest running videogame ceremonies around, will be taking place in London on 27 October, and here's your chance to influence the outcome.

What marks the Golden Joystick Awards out from the crowd is that the winners from each of the 17 different award categories are voted for by you. Not him over there - you.

Remember how annoyed you were when that game you didn't like got to number one in the charts? Now's your chance to put things right or, at least, get yourself heard. Pop on over to the Golden Joysticks website to do your bit for Electroplankton, Fahrenheit, Nintendogs or, umm, Crazy Frog Racer, or whatever. The ceremony will be shown on ITV4 on 24 November.

So, have your say, and make sure that the games that have glittered this year really do turn out to be gold.
